How to create a Port and Site Collection in sharepoint 2013

Welcome to Designers Dairy blog here i have posted how to create a Port and Site Collection in

sharepoint 2013

Step1:

Go to  SharePoint Central administrator 2013

 

Step2:

Create a new web application so u have to create a new port  -> Click New  Web application Tab ->

Change the Port  Name : SharePoint - 24   Port Number - 24

Step3:

After the port has been created you have to Create Site Collection page - > click the link

Step4:

Create site Collection -fill the title and description and

Select the template -


                   Collaboration

                              1.Team site
                              2.Blog
                              3.Developer site
                              4.Project site
                              5.Community site

                   Enterprise       
                   Publishing
                   Custom

Step5:

Now  the  site Collection has been created

Step6:

click on the link  http://win-3qppuudegcm50 . u can see the Team site default screen below
